We have some difficulties with RDKINSTALL (using OI 3.6)

1. Data Columns

We can not check out data columns which have been changed.

New Data Columns will check out. Changes to columns are ignored.

Columns which are deleted then added are also ignored.

Although Data Columns are supposed to be maintained in the Repository, most are not there.

How can we have any dictionary fields, which are changed, deployed?

2. Releasing SYSUPGRADE files

We use PKUNZIP to unzip the Deployment files then call RDKINSTALL.

Running the upgrade twice during one session, returns the message that the files are in use and can not be over-written.

Is there any way to release/delete these files so that the upgrade may be done more than once without leaving OI?

3. Selecting Changes for Deployment

At represent, the only deployment option that we can get to work effectively is to select changes from a given date. Often this is very large and frequently has more entities than OI can handle.

We would like to be able to by a range of dates. Eg changes between 1 -31 Jan, 1-28 Feb. Are other selection criteria available?
