I am trying to deploy an application and keep getting "SSP280: Table "TEMP(COMPUTER NAME)" not found at (path)\DATA." I have reinstalled OI and tried deploying from SYSPROG as well as the application.

The database manager shows the temp file but when I try to delete it, OI freezes.

I would like to transfer this deployed application to another machine. Simply copying the directory and all the files did not allow me to start the application in the second location. What is the proper way to deploy?

Thanks.

Have you tried REMOVING the file instead of deleting it?

You could also remove it by hand by taking the references out of the *.DBT file.

Same result with REMOVE.

Bob's problem seems very familiar. But I can only remember problems with DICT.TEMP, not TEMP. So might Bob's problem be something different than what we think of?

Bob..

Have you checked to see whether the REVnnnnn.LK/OV files are in the directory being pointed to? If not, then that is probably what is causing your error. One of the things you can do is to DOS copy any small REVnnnnn.LK/OV files to the missing names in the directory. Then you can REMOVE or DELETE the offending file (usually). As a last resort, you can manually remove the TEMP from the .DBT file yourself. You can also check to make sure that the REVMEDIA files contain pointers to what is in the .DBT file. Make sure that the owner application is either or GLOBAL.
