I am trying to manipulate @RECORD in a Multi-Table window, but it seems @record only has Master table fields in it; no fields to reference from the second (Detail table). Any clue ?

TIA

My recollection is that the Multi-table logic is invoked at Save-Record time. The system variable @RECORD contains the data from the master. Of course, you can capture and save the associated table records for an existing record using labelled common variables but to do it on the fly for changes, etc. would be a pretty complex programming issue. I don't remember if AREV Common has any pointers that might be useful.

Don,

Always appreciate a response from the AREV world. I would appreciate if you could post a response on this matter whenever you have any insights to it at a later time.

Thanks.

The full record, as it appears on the screen, is in the WC_Display_Rec% common variable.

The full record, as read from disk, is in the WC_JoinData% common array.

These commons are defined in SYSINCLUDE, MT_Window_Common%
