We are curerntly in the process of reedveloping our existing system, and are wanting to supply our technology providor with a copy of AREV, so they can investigate what things look like etc.

The client has a Win XP laptop and we have successfully managed to copy over all the relevant AREV files. When they start LHIPXTSR it reports IPX not installed even though it is. This appears to be the only thing that is stopping them from running the application.

Is there anything special that we have to do to get IPX loaded, and should AREV be able to run in a non-networked mode.

Thanks in advance

Are you running this directly on the local hard drive of the laptop? If so, then you should switch the network driver to Non Networking or MS-DOS 3.1+ Network. The LHIPXTSR assumes you are running AREV from a Novell server.

I'm sure you realize this, but simply copying your AREV system as you described sounds like a possible license violation. You may want to contact Revelation and let them know what you are doing.
