We have just moved our AREV 2.12 application to a Windows server and installed the UD4.5.

Record locking appears to be working in the application however, the only record lock showing on the console is for the Universal Driver volume. Connections show up on the Current Status tab after clicking the Refresh button, but no other record locks.

We have only one REVPARAM file, with ServerOnly=1, located in the same volume as the AREV.EXE.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, Lee

Do you data files live "above" the AREV directory, eg \AREV for arev.exe and \DATA for the data? If so see the article on the UD in the latest SENL.

What about the Revparam file located in the UDH Manager folder?

That seems to be answer. That REVPARAM also had ServerOnly=1 but ServerName is set to the name whereas the REVPARAM in the application folder was set to the IP address. Changing that appeared to make the difference.

Will now read through SENL.

Many thanks for your help.
