In a RevG2B system I wrote many moons ago, it has begun breaking

"OP.DESC" is a symbolic.

I've ran RECOVER on the file with no GFE's found.

Other FILES do not respond this way.

I've also tried recompiling the sybolics using CD

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks suspiciously like 2 error mesages with "Invalid Header - Call Aborted" obscured. Any chance there has been a problem with dict recompilation?

Check that you have no missing $insert library\ies referenced from

Andrew,

When I run,

:LIST DICT CURRENT.AUDITS DICT.INFO

'LIST 1' LINE 2. B708 Subroutine contains invalid header. CALL aborted.

Line 2 'LIST 1' broke because a run time error was encountered.

!G FATAL Error - NO Return Allowed.

NOTE:

DICT.INFO is a VOC Dict. record:

This problem only occurs in this one file. And these breaks

occur in entry programs also when "calculating" a symbolic

record. All symbolic records are simple xlates or sums of fields.

Any help is appreciated

Sounds definitely as though there's a problem with the dict items not being correctly compiled. If you create a new file, copy some of the records in and copy in the dict items does it work?
