Maybe the damage happened earlier? Maybe you have to go further back than one day?

Try to check progressively older versions of SYSENV, provided you have backups from earlier. Start up a working version of OpenInsight and attach the SYSENV you want to check from there with Database Manager's File | Add. Remember to use an Alias. Check it with Database Manager's LH Verify and the System Editor. (And remember to detach it afterwards.)

Thankx for the idea. However the same SYSENV works fine on a full

copy on another part of the drive. So it goes beyond just the SYSEND file. Any way I have used the working copy from the previous day

and copied the SYSPROG and all REPOS files from the bad system and

everything seems to be fine going on 3 days. Thankx for the Alias, LH verify suggestion. I am sure that will come handy in the future.
