NLM 5.5 (AREV Specific)

We have five file servers each running AREV3.12. The data files are stored in the main office file server while the 4 file servers at each remote site are loaded with the program files only. Each file server has a full development license of AREV with unique serial numbers. All file servers are Novell 4.11 running the AREV NLM 1.5.
We are now considering adding an additional file server that would be running Novell 5.1. I understand that we would need to use NLM 5.5. Are there any issues that we should know about in regards to running different versions of the NLM within a WAN?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Erik,
I haven't had to do this, but I cannot think of any reasons off the top of my head. First, regardless of the NLM version the LHIPXTSR.EXE that runs on the client is the same. Second, the NLM is specifically for the fileserver. Provided that you have the correct version of the NLM on the fileserver, I see no reason why it should pose a problem.
Naturally, you should test extensively and ensure you have good backups first.
