We're planning to implement Citrix XenApp Advanced for 10 users on our OI7.1 application. The server will be an HP ProLiant ML350 with a single Quad-Core Xeon 2.83GHz CPU and 4 Gb RAM. Do the Citrix boffs reckon this will cope? The server is upgradeable to 2 CPU with 32Gb. Any opinions gratefully received.

Nick,

To my experience your new server will properly run any OI application from the Citrix sessions. I assume the underlying operating system will be Windows Server 2003, right? However, for security and performance reasons I would suggest to make the clients connect to the database by the Universal Driver, running on a separate, dedicated machine.

Best,

Stefano

Dont forget to follow up the Unique Station Id issue for Citrix, else it will go slow.
