WE RUN AREV3.12 - WIN95 WORKSTATIONS ON NETWARE 4.1X WITH NOVELL'S CLIENT32 V2.5. IN A PREVIOUS ONLINE DISCUSSION I READ THAT REVTECH WERE WORKING WITH NOVELL TO SOLVE A PROBLEM WHICH APPARENTLY CAUSES THE CLIENT TO LOSE THE NETWORK. WE ARE CERTAINLY GETTING A LOT OF THIS TO THE POINT WHERE ITS CAUSING US GRIEF. WE MAP TO THE SERVER USING NETWARE'S LOGIN SCRIPT NOT VIA WIN95 DRIVE CONNECTIONS. ANY ANSWERS PLEASE.

The bug is with Novell. The RTI staff suggested you do drive mappings with the MAP statement in a batch file ahead of entering AREV.EXE

Don't use MAP ROOTs, and ensure that all users map to AREV on the same drive letter and path.

Presumably you'd only have to map one or two drives at most (one for Novell utilities (public), one for the AREV volume concerned.

The Novell Netware Intranetware client 2.2.0.0 works fine, FWIW.
