NT System Unresponsive with Message about Licenses (Networking Products)

We have a client who has on two occasions now had a problem with NT, we are getting anxious as it crashes all the applications at this large hospital. Any help appreciated.
The LinearHash service starts bombarding the NT application log with messages about being out of licenses or something to that effect.
The only way to correct the problem is to shut the machine down and reboot, the simply procedure of stopping and starting the service does not work as after stopping the service, when you try to restart the service it goes into a hung state, that can only be fixed by a reboot.
The LinearHash service crashes and stops working properly, and in an extreme case sometimes causes a drain on NT system resources causing the server to become totally non-responsive, not allowing a clean shutdown, as the only way to shut the server down is to turn the power off.
Running
NT Version 4
Service Pack 4
Revalation NT Service 1.5.0.0
Advanced Revelation 3.12

Try the usual check list
1. Revparam file with ServerOnly=True
2. Give NT SYSTEM user full access to all directories with Rev files
3. Ensure Arev has All Networks Driver as network driver
4. Ensure a multi user version of Arev!
5. Don't just stop and start the service, re-create it (from Command prompt)
6. If NT workstations make sure they are also on SP4
Hope this helps.
