I have 2 windows which I want to share the same "T" type popup.

Window 1 needs the the Key returned

Window 2 needs the first field (2nd column) returned.

I thought I'd be smart and just change the 12th field from K to null and vice versa as need be.

Seems, however, that the popup is actually compiled (like windows) when I press F9 in the MAKEPOPUP window.

Is there a way to modify the behaviout of a "T" type popup on the fly?

TIA

Claude

Sounds like you are replaceing variables in the actual popup record.

Do you know there is utilities to run popups which allow you to change the popup variables without changing the original popup record.

Lookup "pop_up_soft" and "pop.up"

pop_up_soft - runs a previous defined popup.

pop.up - creates a popup from variables you define.
