Certain TCL commands can have embedded in-line prompts (?…?). I'm trying to handle these in a particular way and I thought of parsing @SENTENCE but replacing the LIST processor with my own program.

However, I've confirmed that these in-line prompts are automatically sensed by the RLIST processor and actually pre-empt the LIST (or SORT, SELECT, etc) statement itself. The outcome is that in spite of replacing the LIST command with mine in VOC, the IN-LINE (?…?)prompts are being triggered even before my replacement LIST program that was intended specifically to trap these prompts accordingly.

Can you tell me which system subroutine handles these in-line (?…?) prompts or how I can have control on these in-line prompts from a program that I write specifically to trap them and then proceed with executing the LIST/SORT/SELECT/etc statement?
