I am having problems getting object linking in my reports to update automatically.

I have tried editing graphics in both Corel Draw and Paint that are objects in my reports. The automatic link does not work, however, if you click on the manual update button in the edit-]links menu of the reporter, the link will update, or if you double click on the object in the reporter to edit it, the link will also update. If you dont save the report after performing either of these operations, the object will revert to its previous version.

If as it seems, the automatic linking is not working, does anybody know if it is possible to use the same code that lies behind the manual link button to perform the update before printing the report.

Better still, does anyone know of a way to change a graphic in a report programmatically, without using OLE.
