I am currently running NLM 1.5 with Novell 4.11. I purchase Novell 5.0 and NLM 5.0.

I do not want to do both upgrade at the same time. Just in case, things got screwed up.

I am considering to upgrade the NLM first from 1.5 to 5.0 while retaining the Novell 4.11. Is that possible to run NLM 5.0 on top of Novell 4.11 ?

Thanks for the inquiry. The Revelation NLM 5.0 will not work with Novell 4.11. It is specifically designed for Novell 5.0 only. If you wish to continue to run with Novell 4.11, you must continue to use the Revelation NLM 1.5. Upon upgrading to Novell 5.0, you must then upgrade the Revelation NLM to 5.0.

There were some changes made in the new version of NetWare which required some changes in the Revelation NLM. We have finished those changes and had the new version of the NLM certified by Novell.
