One of our users is getting an error message from Win2000 when she's using our OI application. The message is:

Please check these outEvent Type: Error

Event Source: LinearHash

Event Category: None

Event ID: 30000

Date: 11/20/2001

Time: 4:20:12 AM

User: N/A

Computer: MEDSVR

Description:

The "LHReadRecord" call failed, returning LH error number 127, file number 2, group number 3. Group Format Error: Group # : 3 Record length incorrect or frame linkage error.

Does anybody know how to keep this message from coming up? Has anybody had this problem before?

It may not mean anything, but our user is running Windows 2000 Small Business Server, as opposed to the "regular" Win2000 server. (Note that this the Small Business SERVER, not Small Business OFFICE, which is a totally different product.) Is it possible this is an error specific to Small Business Server rather than "regular" Win2000? Does anyone know anything about Small Business Server that makes it different from "regular" Win2000 that might help us understand why we're getting this error?

Fix your Group Format Error.

We tried to, but we can't even get into OI. Windows keeps giving us this message and ultimately ties up the machine before we can even do anything.
