I've upgraded our copy of ARev from 2.12 to 3.12 - and reinstalled the IPX Driver (for the NLM). In the sysprog account, when we type 'who' at the TCL box, we see the IPX driver as the selected driver. In all other accounts, 'No Network' is being displayed. I've tried removing it, reinstalling it, etc. - same results.

Here's how I did it:

Log in as INSTALL

Add the IPX driver

Logoff

Log in as LANPACK (for 3.12)

Under Network setup - I select the IPX/Netware driver

Any ideas about what is going wrong?

Thanks,

Jeff

I'm kinda surpised at this, based on the way the system gets that information.

Basically, the system goes into SYSNETWORKS and looks at the first field of the DRIVERTABLE record and displays that.

So, unless you have different SYSNETWORKS tables for SYSPROG and the various accounts under it, this should not be happening.

This is what we needed to know. The other accounts were attaching a copy in DATAVOL instead of using the one in REVBOOT. Don't know how that happened, but we've eliminated the problem.

Thanks,

Jeff
