I am running AREV on a Novell 3.12 Network, and I installed the NLM. Version 1.1. When I run LHIPXTSR and then load arev I get "Unable to open boot media map" right away. I can't even load "AREV INSTALL" or "AREV LANPACK". When I unload LHIPXTSR it gives me the warning that the TSR isnt loaded but lets me in. I have run this exact same setup in many locations, what could be causeing this to happen now?

Sounds like a problem we had with SAP filtering. There are details in the manual.

Check that the LHIPXTSR files have write access. If this is not the case then you need to give them write access and redo the install.

I recall this topic pops up regularly

I suggest you do a search (I got 77 hits today) and check them out

It often boils down to Frame Type Settings in Win95/98 or Access Rights on your Novell LAN

Best of luck

Tony
