We have a lotus Notes server V4.5 running on NT4.
I am running the W32 version of the notes client with the 16 bit dlls, in a seperate directory, which is included in my path statement.
I am using Openinsight 3.61 ( upgraded from 3.0 thru to 3.61 complete with all posted patches).
I am able to start Notes from the Outliner however, I am not able to register any new notes databses, etc.
Upon starting the Notes registration tool the following message appears in the Status line.
OINOT107 : Lotus Notes connections have been disables from OpenInsight
I have tried removing notes and reinstalling a the 16 bit version only but I still get the same result.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance.

Sam-
Are any of your NOTES dlls in the OI directory stubbed? There should be a USENOTES.BAT file that you can run if you aren't sure. Was it working before 3.6 or the 3.61 patch?

Tracy,
No, we had run the USENOTES.BAT and there are not NOTES.DLL stubbs in the OI directory.
And No it wasn't working before the 3.6 and 3.61 upgrades.
Today I installed a clean copy of OpenInsight from our original disks all the way through the upgrade path to 3.61.
Using the same workstation ( notes path etc) it works and I able to register notes.
I suspect that our usual development copy of Openinsight has been damaged during the 3 years we have been using it.
I say this because there are other things such as the ORMAIN window that wont run on this copy but do on other installations including the clean install.
Given this I think we will replace the DLL's, etc from the 'Clean' install and if this doesnt work we will start looking at our repository etc. Someone thinks they remember having to fix some GFE's etc in the 'early days'.
Anyway, I will let you know how we go.
Thanks for your help
Sam
