If reporter.exe doesn't work I don't think I will be able to upgrade.
It's bad enough that I have to re-write all my reports but I also need support for calculated fields in the new reporter; which according to Mike will not be until the end of the year. If the new reporter is going to replace reporter.exe it needs to do everything that reporter.exe does. That or I need both work.
When do you think we will be able to test if reporter.exe runs under OI 8?

Try it yourself! Copy your Reporter.exe over to 8.0 system. Run the Client install. Then you should be able to test.

As you know, we do not support the Reporter. We hope that the upgrades do not break anything within the Reporter's interactions with OpenInsight. We are not doing anything intentionally to break the Reporter, but if it happens to break we do not have any plans to fix the Reporter.
