OIPI Font question (OpenInsight 32-Bit)

So I tell OIPI to set the font to Courier, 10 (field 1 and 2 of the font record).
Then if I do a get_printer("FONT") it tells me the font is Courier but that the pitch is 9.75. Why is this?
thanks

Dave-
I just duplicated it- WinXP - don't know why.
Must be a handling fee, or the nearest size to 10 that the font actually supports.
If it's an issue I can dig more.

and in follow up ..
1) the numbers did line up when I was typing everything out .. it is just when you view this page it messes up the formatting
2) is there a way that OIPI's preview screen could allow 'hightlight/copy' of the text?

Mike,
I have tested this in Word and OIPI (using Courier New)
If I set the font to 8, 10, 12 in word and print a line of 60 characters ALL characters fall right into place in the forms ruler.
Doing the same with OIPI the 8 creep out (expand) and the 10 shrink (contract).
I have sent you a word doc with the print for word and the OI routine.
Please let me know if it is me or it actually does as I say. I hope it is a simple calculation ..
Oh .. as mentioned before the 10 reports back as 9.75 (contracting?). The 8 shows as 8.25 (expanding?).
The 12 shows 12 AND it works correctly YEOW .. could I be on to something? You need me in the lab huh

Got the file, still poking at it. Looks like OCX level issues so far.
We'll keep you up to date-

Mike,
Was wondering if you found out anything with this issue. We are having a hell of a time trying to print forms. What worked in AREV no longer works in OI.
Thanks,
