Does anybody know if or where this dll exists and exactly what it does. Has it perhaps undergone a change in name?

I have a portion of an installshield script that refers to this dll but I don't have it on my computer.

Yes it does exist. Through a find I located it in F:\Revsoft\NT services. If you want I'll email it to you. Give me a call 800-262-4747

This DLL use to ship with OI the RDK when it was a stand-alone product. It is used to allow external applications to communicate with OpenEngine, generally to do component installations. This is why you see it being called by your InstallShield script.

If you don't get a copy from Joe, you can 'create' your own so to speak. Just get any OI upgrade and start the SETUP.EXE. When you get to the first dialog box just pull up Windows Explorer or a DOS prompt and get to your Window's Temp folder. You should find a folder that was recently created. In there will be several files that InstallShield needs to continue its installation. One of them will be RDKINSTP.DLL.

Thanks Joe for your response. I was actually without a copy of it, however I am in Sydney and I don't know that I could have actually used the number you gave me. Not a problem though, I was able to retrieve a copy using Don's method.
