This is a known issue with Trend Micro WFBS v7. You need to download the patch from the Trend Micro site, which fixes the problem.

I recently upgraded to v7 and haven't noticed any issues until yesterday. OI was running so slow I thought it was locked up. Closing the AV client resolved the problem. The stange thing is restaring my computer and the AV client also resolved the problem. I will have to look into the patch to see whats going on.
