When I run a simple TCL and select the button on the bottom of the viewer to save it as a PDF, the pdf file is created, but with 0 bytes and I get the message 'Not able to write PDF file' after a many minute wait followed by the message PDF File created at C:\doc…. etc.

Yes the file was created, but with 0 bytes,

Yes we do have full rights onto the target for the file.

We have 56 sites, and it is happening only on some.

Window 2003 Server is what we are using.

Yes, there is a local printer selected as the default printer.

OI 7.2.2

If I add pdffile C:\mydir\mypdf.pdf to the end of the TCL statement, it works - The problem appears only when creating the pdf while in view mode.

No one noticed this in 7.2.1, so we think it worked, and they only reported it a week after they all upgraded.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Dana

Check to see if you have a directory in OPI called temp. If not create the directory.
