Author name on Forum topic becomes that of latest reply (General)

Hello Revelation Admin,
I have noticed that when an entry in the Forum gets replies, the "Author" field gets changed from the original author of the item, to that of the person who last made a reply to the item.
This might explain why "List by Author" does not work.
I had created an entry on or around 08 Aug 2022, but when list by Author and specify my name, only some items appear, and not the latest, as this had been replied by another Works member. I had made an update to this item, and then selected to "List by Author" and then that entry with my name appeared. I also noticed that before I had made that last entry, that the name in the Author field at the top of the Forum form, was not my name.
I am hoping that this is an easy and quick fix.
Regards,
Robert.

Further to my initial log, I can say that "All by Author" still did not find all my logs.
The only way I was able to find my logs was to select "All by Date" and then enter my Works username in the "Keyword" field.

Hi, Robert. Sorry, I'm confused by what you're saying you see - _where_ are you seeing the author's name messed up?
I'm assuming you are discussing the Works forum, right?
When you go to last year by date, for example, it should show you the author of the initial post, and the author of the most recent post, for each thread - is that what you see?
When you click on one of the threads, do you see a "summary" of all the posts in that thread? In each of those summary posts, do you not see the author (different, potentially, for each post in the thread)?
I also tried "Last Year By Author", selected an author from the drop-down list, and saw a number of threads that contained posts by that author - not necessarily the _originator_ of the thread, or the most recent reply to the thread, but if that author had ANY posts in the thread, it was displayed in the results list.
What behavior am I seeing, that you're not?
Thanks!
