We have just started our upgrading to 8.0.6 and we've come across an issue where a report run out of 8.0.3 is as we'd expect it, and the same report run against the exact same data is now running over 2 pages.

Same PC, same everything, other than the two releases of OI.

Any hints as to where to start debugging this - we use ADDTABLE for our print formatting and the code base is the same, just one of the directories has been updated to 8.0.6.

Thank You

Martin,

Is there data on the second page or is it a blank page?

The data on the 2nd page is what is at / near the bottom of the first. So if you will an invoice like format, where the remitance details are at the bottom of the first page, now there's the first lines at the top of the 2nd page.

This happens to me when the data on a line exceeds the print width of that line. OIPI does a line break and continues on the next line.

Dave - not as simple as that. The two environments print the same piece of data, one has a problem the other doesn't.

Just to be sure, ensure that the printer settings are the same, eg that one is not A4 and the other Letter, for example.

Also, a good way to check, is to get the two reports and hold them together up to a light, and see if there is creep in the lines.
