Repository in state of error (OpenInsight 32-Bit)

Greetings!
I got some errors while closing OI and now when I attempt to open it, I get the message: Error: The Repository is in a state of error. Access to the Repository is denied until a system administrator remedies the situation.
Where are the clues as to what to do to 'remedy the situation'?
Thanks,
Paxton

This is caused then the repository mirror is locked. Check flags, server locks, etc. Probabaly a reboot of Server and workstation should take care of it.
If not, look in the SYSENV file, record REPOS_MIRROR_CONFIG, and clear out field 5.
Hope it helps-

Paxton,
Also, in case you forgot, this was the same problem you had about four years ago. Check this thread out.

Well, rebooted the workstation (oi loaded there) no joy, then checked SYSENV REPOS_MIRROR_CONFIG and no data in the record, only some @vms in field 1.
The Mirror is on a Linux Samba server. I'll try rebooting it, but have not done that in years

If fact I did remember, and searched for it but was unsuccessful. You have got a better way to find old stuff!

Paxton,
With a Linux server you do not have to reboot it, just restarting the Samba daemon should do it.
