Running Red Hat 9.0, Universal Driver 3.0.2 - occasionally the daemon will stop and require restarting. Latest log shows:
Initialize…done.
The "RCLRegisterServer" call failed, returning RCL error number 1013. ???.
Terminate…done.
The universal driver has stopped, at Sat Apr 10 00:05:00 EDT 2004
Any ideas what may be the cause and potential fix - customer is a 24/7 operation and moved from an old Netware 5 with 1.5 NLM 2 weeks ago.

Peter,
The 1013 indicates that the daeomon is unable to open the TCP/IP port.

We think this error was caused by our crontab checking to see if the driver had stopped, then it was to restart lh3srvcd. The delay was 1 second - probably too short a time, so we bumped it up and that seems to help.
Still having issues with the driver stopping for no apparent reason. Have logging turned on and will get last 200 lines emailed to me when it fails. Running Red Hat 9 on a new IBM server, 512 mb ram, 2 mirrored drives (don't recall the size), converted from old Netware 5.0 server with nlm. Running OI 7 and Arev 3.12 at same time while we complete the conversion from Arev to a complete OI implementation.
