[notag]Just in case you somehow missed the original posting I made a week or so ago and Dick Haddaway and Oystein Reigem made 9 months ago, INET_Rlist has some major flaws which prevent it working.

Do you intend to fix it in 3.8?

After doing so, I will escalate the issue and post the problem into our SPR database for a likely fix to OpenInsight 3.8. I'll assume that the browser and web server do not affect the behavior one way or the other and that you are using OpenInsight ver. 3.7+. Perhaps then the problem can be analyzed in a timely manner and not left to sit for 9-months. Such a site might have a dialog in which the user can document the problem in detail for you per some predesigned script. </QUOTE> —- === At 28 DEC 1999 05:41AM Andrew McAuley wrote: === <QUOTE>Stephen I am indebted to you for the thoroughness of your responses. You have consistently and timeously responded to my Works postings and I appreciate that. It makes me feel that I am getting some value from my Works subscription. If there is anything that I or any other member of the Sprezz group can do to assist in your endeavours please let us know. As a side issue you may want to look at the fact that INET_RLIST when working from a SAVED report, reruns the select for each page of the report - a horrendous time penalty. As a side issue you may want to look at the fact that INET_RLIST when working from a SAVED report, reruns the select for each page of the report - a horrendous time penalty. I may have reproduced this as well. I created a larger report/table and placed a selection time for each at the bottom each HTML page. This particular INET request called ORMAIN to sort the data and INET_RLIST was altered to return time elapsed (mentioned previously) as well. Each page took my environment 3-4 sec. Is this evidence of reproducing the implied behavior? -Stephen </QUOTE> View this thread on the Works forum...
