What Cause Slower Printing in OI7.0x? (OpenInsight 32-Bit)

I have read about the slow printing problem in OI7.0x, but never saw anything that was intolerable. However, last night, I had to load OI7.01 onto a new server for internal use.
Now when I print, it takes a lot longer. It looks like the system is locked or not doing anything.
My questions are these:
1) Could there be something that we had installed onto the old server that made printing goes alot faster? That is, we have migrated from OI3.x to OI4.x to OI7.0x. Therefore, could there be some unexpected benefit in the process of updating from older version of OI to the most current? Are there files that were installed or things that we did back with the old OI that could help with the printing speed in OI7.0x? I can say emphatically, that printing in OI7.0x is definitely slower and a pain.
2) Is this being addressed? Could OI7.02 address this printing issue?
3) Have anyone found a work-around to this condition?
Thanks for all comments,

P.S. Windows 2003 Server, with NT Services 2.1, set to NetBios/TCPIP.

Ray,
Printing is slower due to the nature of the beast in that all the OIPI code that used to be within the compiled Visual Basic executable (OIPI32.exe) has been retrofitted into Basic+. This was necessary to incorporate the OIPI directly into OpenInsight.
As has been mentioned by Sprezz on the general discussion forum and in the Beta forum, the speed issues are being addressed for 7.1. However, I cannot say how much improvement you will see.

Don,
Thanks, I can see a little slow down, but what I'm seeing is something markedly slower. I'm going to do some more looking, but the only change is a new server.
I don't know. The elections and all is keeping me busy.
Thanks again for your response and hope all is well with you and your family. Glad to see your presence again.
