First, I have seen the thread about entering the SQL statement and not letting Crystal build it to make 9.0 work. However, this is not really a solution, but a work-around.

What is the root problem that causes the 42000 SQLPrepareStatement error? Is it a Crystal Reports 9.0 problem so I should try to get Crystal Solutions to do something (fat chance)? Or is it an OI ODBC problem?

Crystal Reports 8.5 works fairly well, with the exception of dates in the select being a bit testy. Unfortunately, my client owns 9.0, not 8.5. UGH - Never liked Crystal all that much anyway.

PS - Loving the new 7.0. Thanks Guys and Gals!!!
