After populating a window I receive this error message.

FS210: The index table for "!tablename*appname*09:46:48 29 OCT 1999" is not available.

All data appears to be there including the data from the table in question

The FSErrors insert suggest it cannot open the index file associated with the data file

I have rebuilt the indexes. I have removed and then readded the indexes. No change.

If I open the file using an open statement

"open !tablename to tablevar Else……."

the table opens. I still however receive the error message afterwards.

Any suggestions to rectify this situation would be appreciated.

Mark,

Did you rename the volume or replace the REVMEDIA.* files recently? You might want to rebuild the index from scratch, i.e. complete remove/delete the !Table table, manually clear all the flags in each dictionary record that has an index on it, delete %PROTECT.SPEC% and %FIELDS% from the dictionary, and then add indexes afresh. If you have done this before then you know all of the steps you'll need. If not, then the full approach can be found here.

Does it? What it literally says is it cannot open the index of the index. For possible reasons search the discussion lists.
