I've checked every BB on this site for the string 'save operation has failed' and have not had any success.

I have an existing form with GE 80 widgets - change one menu option, ctrl W, to test run - select save.

'The save operation has failed' - not a problem - however, what has it failed on ?

what flags / salutes do I need to get the system to tell me what it's problem is?

thank you

Martyn,

If you turn on the OE log is there any information in that?

Carl - 64K lines

there's a reference to REPOS.OIWIN & subsequently REPOS.RESOLVE_ENTITY

no specific mention of any keyword which is an element in my form

When I save & compile the form through an OI program (REPOS functions) - the new executable has the change. And the form works.

Then open, re-save goes back to its problematic ways.

Will have to do a manual post-mortem.

And, this is under 8.x
