Screen display speed in AMV (OpenInsight 32-bit)

In our recently-converted Arev32 system, most everything seems to work as advertised. We are having an issue with screen display speed/ "smoothness" and key processing particularly within an AMV group. In Arev3.12, if one held down the Down-arrow key, eventually one would exit the AMV group. In Arev32, if we hold down the Down, it will continue to put blank MVs in the group. Moving through the group seems to be considerably slower as well.
Is there a config setting somewhere or a proven technique that will address this?
Thanks!
Michael

Try setting the next prompt after the AMV group as a Tab destination.
Then, in the AMV enter Alt-T to get to the next Tab prompt.

Dave,
The problem is, the Arev system should run basically the same under Arev32. The keystroke buffer issue isn't as much a problem as the display speed. Arev32 seems a lot slower.
Thanks,
Michael

Well, I converted 3 systems to Arev32 some years ago. There were no complaints about the speed compared to the DOS system. There is a mix of XP Pro and Windows 7 Pro desktops running it, so that's not the problem.
On one XP Pro desktop, where I'm running the "graphical debugger" version, I get delays in the screen refresh and between some keystrokes. In this case you start a local: java -jar oesocketserver.jar
The non-graphical desktops execute an oinsight.exe which is on the file server, and then start a AREV32_STANDALONE_FORM from that instance. Which do you do? All the oengines are run in the desktop computer.
