OI's RDK folder contents? (OpenInsight 32-Bit)

My OI 7.0.1 has a folder named RDK, containing RDK type update files. Is this an upgrade to the RDK itself that should be manually installed, or is this an ancient leftover containing an older version? I am afraid to just install it lest I roll something newer back to a 1995 version.
I noticed that with 7.0 there is a new column for DB location when selecting tables to deploy, but that it didn't seem to have any effect. That led me to question whether the RDK was automatically being updated by the OI updates… since there is source code for the RDK that some users may have customized.
Which brings up another question: Is the RDK source code current with the installed executables? I notice most of it has not been touched since 1995 or thereabouts. I wouldn't want to accidentally hit F9 on one of these andoverwrite a newer executablle in that case.
Thanks to anyone wh can bring me up to speed on the state of these programs.

Jim-
Anything we ship in the RDK folder gets installed automatically.
The DB location should work- files will be copied to that location on the installation site.
Finally, the RDK source code is not up to date.

Any plans to update it? We still customize certain features and this is the first I realized that the source wasn't up to par with the object.

I do too, fortunatly I always save a copy of my customized source with another name. I noticed the sources were different from production.

Mike,
Anyway we could get the Source for the RDKModuleInstall as previously we have modified this.
Thanks,
