Can oi8 preview and print out chinese character? Either using report builder, banded report or even oipi? Have anyone done it before? I know OI8 allow us to enter chinese character and store it in the tables but can it be preview and printed?

We've tried (very hard) to no avail, even after suggestions from the Rev folks, Sprezz folks, and Tony Splaver. We have also tried various work-arounds as well. Would love to hear of a success story.

I finally found out what happen. I have to set the language for non-unicode program then i can preview and print in chinese. It works for report builder and tcl. Unfortunately fmt dont support it. I think its because of the 2 byte and fmt goes by character.It will print more than the no of character set in fmt and pushes the next column. Both the report builder and tcl is using set_printer, right? Hope the revelation guys here can confirm this and is there a fmt that support 2 bytes?
