Hi all,

We have an application which uses the Rev_SQL command to execute SQL commands but this has become broken since 'upgrading' to 3.61, having just tried v3.7 we have found that this command is still broken.

An example would be :

script=SELECT QUERY_DESC FROM REPORT_QUERY ORDER BY QUERY_DESC'

Rev_SQL(script, Status)

when the function returns we get :

Status=-302

Status=MARTINW.REPORT_QUERY

The code actually comes from a knowledge base article, This used to work under version 3.5 but hasn't worked since. I was under the impression from Revelations UK office that this would be fixed on 3.7 but it doesn't appear to have been.

Any ideas or any workarounds greatly appreciated

We are aware of this problem with the Rev_SQL command. We plan to have this problem rectified by the OpenInsight 3.8 release.
