This does not happen in OI16, but in OI32 if , on the C: copy you Attach via DB Manager the files on C:\OI32\DATA then go to the copy on E:, the data path has changed to C:\OI32\DATA.

Is this a bug or a feature. Anyway I can stop this from happening.
