I cannot find where or what the starup parameters are in AREV32.

I get an error message W192 Menu "MAIN" has not been created.

I am logged on to the PBC account using OI8.03 on my local development system and would like to find where the startup options are just like Options/user etc. in Arev.

I dont have a PBC application in AREV32 as there are no applications available in AREV32 so I cant set startup parameters in the application options. The LOGON command in VOC is not what is causing the problem.

I am sure it is something simple just need a little guidance.

TIA

Chris

Make sure the AREV_DIR directory is attached in the DB Manager:

http://www.revelation.com/Revelation.nsf/byTitle/Tutorial+Home+Page?OpenDocument

Then login to AREV32 as SYSPROG and set the startup directory and process for the user/application from the Management menu.

If you are running attaches or other startup process from a VOC entry you may have to modify the paths. Use SETALIAS from SYSPROG to edit the entries.

There is currently an issue with starting up from sysprog without having an environment record. It looks for a menu "MAIN" which does not exists. This will be fixed in 8.1. For now make sure you have a sysprog_environment menu from arev and use 'APPMAIN' for a startup menu.
