What is the correct network driver for a multiuser app running on Novell but without the NLM? My notes and memory don't agree.

Oystein,

If the client OS's are 32-bit, then the next best driver would be the NPP. However, I am not absolutely certain that this would be considered "supported" by Revelation.

If the client OS is Windows 3.x, then you should probably use the standard Novell driver.

I would agree with Donald Bakke, regarding the NPP driver but would like to point out that using this driver, depends on the number of users you have, as you said it is a multiuser environment. If you have more than 5 users then the NPP would not prove to be useful and you would need to use the NLMs.

The correct driver depends on the version of Advanced Revelation. For Advanced Reveltion 1.x and 2.x, you should be using the Advanced Netware 2.0 version xxx driver. For Advanced Revelation 3.x you should use the Novell Netware drive. If you are on ARev 1x or 2x do not use the Novell Driver. This is for the old Novell servers shipped in the early-mid 80's before Netware/286.

Thanks all. If the answer depends on OS that might explain why my notes and memory didn't agree.

Btw - it's just a 2 user system.

Thanks again!
