OI for Web, aka OI4Web... What is it? (OpenInsight 32-Bit)

I see we now have a link to request a download of OI for Web, which was mentioned a couple of times at the Las Vegas conference.
Other than the brief description on the download page and the knowledge that DesignBais uses it, I can find no evidence of it's existence anywhere. From where did this come? Is it something we might find useful for things other than DesignBais? If so, How is it licensed and is there documentation? Inquiring minds want to know!
Whoever wrote it did an excellent job of keeping their accomplishment hidden. Or… maybe we have known of it by another name. I'm just curious as to what it is.
Thanks!

Hi, Jim.
OI For Web (OI4Web) is a component (written in VB.NET) that communicates with the EngineServer, and can be used in Active Server Page (ASP) scripts to get back information from OI. Its function is similar to that of OECGI2, but (because it's actually an "object" that can be created and manipulated in an ASP page) web developers (like DesignBais) can use it in more complex situations.
It's another of the 'clients' of the EngineServer (like CTO, AREV32, and OECGI2) that I discussed in the EngineServer talk at the conference.
Included with the control are an example ASP page and an example INI file (which must be configured to properly access your EngineServer and your OI).
Hope that helps,
