You are referring to vers 7 I suppose?

Using Set_printer (Oipi) it works Ok

Also your printer may be an old printer which doesnt support chinese characters.

Are you using Chinese windows, as if you are using English Windows it may not work either, as the local windows charmap is used.

OR_VIEW is an old report tool in OI. I'm not surprised if it doesn't support your character set. Refer to this post to see what other option is available to you.
