Hello,
After installing OI 8, Editor+ is now the default editor executed by clicking on the icon on the developers screen. Is there a way to default this icon to the old editor? I'm having records being deleted after opening them up in the Editor+. I know I can access the old editor from the menu but the one-click icon is more Convenient.
Thanks,

Open the oinsight.ini file (it is usually in the Windows directory), locate the "SideBarToolList" line, in its comma delimited list of numbers replace 15 with 4, voilà… if you restart OI you'll get access to the "old" editor.

Charlie,
Refer to Customizing the Side Tool Bar in the Help. Do a search on the Side Tool Bar.

Dave,
It explains how to change the Side Tool Bar and put the old Editor in the Side Tool Bar.

As Sean indicated, this does not change this to the default editor. We suspect this is hard-coded in OI as our attempts to add/modify Repository procedures to redirect have not been successful. We would appreciate clarity on this as other repository entities can be customized to use different tools.

I still show both editors-
SideBarToolList=2,1,3,4,15,5,8,16,12,13,11,14

But the original question was not go get back to the old editor for the default. I would also like to know how to change this behavior.
Thanks
