Have a brand new Dell 1920x1280 with windows 7.

Boot up OI either 8.x or 9.1.1 and the fonts are oversized, so I end up losing up to 2 lines of windowed display on forms. Have been through all the obvious configuration points but nothing changes the display in OI.

Have come from a Vista system with the previous OI versions.

Is there some special OI:Windows 7 setup ?

Cheers TIA

Martin,

Could you have changed your display setting from "smaller" to either "medium" or "larger"? If so, this would have affected your fonts.

Ray - all small. I am a tech at heart so have done the generic stuff, 2 & 3 times over. Small fonts selected.

Need to know what's OI doing to pick up font details etc, as it's the only application misbehaving. As I noted the same OI works perfectly under Vista.

Cheers Ray

Martin,

Ray suggested the exact idea I would have. Like you I have a 1920x1200 resolution Windows 7 machine. My fonts were huge until I set the text size from Larger (150%) to something smaller (aka DPI).

Are you using a Windows 7 or Windows Classic theme? If Classic then you'll also want to open up the Window Color and Appearance dialog to make sure the various Items with font selectors (Icon, Title Bar, Menu, Message Box, etc.) are all using font sizes that you prefer.
