What essential non OI , (OI required) (eg .net enabled) Microsoft setups/installs/settings (no IIS being used by me) are requiredwhen a server and terminal server are setup by an IT company. e.g. ClientSetup said .net not installed and failed downloading it.

IT went into some system setting and enabled .net which installed. But I am still having issues with OI forms crashing - so just stabs in the dark here (never had these issues before at other sites)

Can OI be installed on the Terminal Server (Just what IT contact asked me) or must it be on the Server server.

Yes, OI can be installed on terminal servers. The ClientSetup is most likely failing due to the .NET Framework 3.5 installation package. If you go under Server Manager and then review Features, you can see if the .NET Framework 3.5 has been installed.

Once that is installed, run the ClientSetup again and see if there are any additional errors. If so, there might be an issue with the Read/Write permissions from the folder location you are running ClientSetup from or the targe destination.

Yep, that is there.

Ran clientsetup.exe - ran OK - still OI isssue.

Srp editor still white sqares where buttons should be.

BUT, when went to that system manager I see where IT did a restart and it is showing and error - error is to do with access right and priveledges , which is what I have been telling them that I am sure that is issue GRRRRRR
