Is 4.02 officially released? I see 4.02 as the version number in the download section but the release date is the same as 4.01 (i.e. 2/15/02). Is this an upgrade to 4.01 or can it be applied to 3.7x or both?

The 4.0.2 version in the download section is an official release. This is however only an upgrade for 16-bit versions. An upgrade from 4.0.1 will be posted later today in the Works Downloads.

Is there documentation of what exactly the 4.0.2 release fixes? I have been running into an enormous number of freezes and lockups in both development and deployment.

Well I just checked out 4.0.2 by upgrading my 16 bit again and the freezing problems still exist. The Form Designer freezes on certain windows. I bring up the window, edit the Create Event Script, do the Update to the script and the whole Form Designer freezes.

Any help would be appreciated.

By chance do these forms that freeze on you have "join fields."

I've been playing with joins and just setting them and saving the forms in designers will "sometime" cause the form (in my case) to just hang. I will then have to exit OI completely.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'join fields'. This form does include Calculated columns that pull data from other files, but it does not contain edittable fields from multiple files.
