Spooky things with dirList().

Yesterday I was doing some development using dirList() to get a list of filenamepaths and it is working and then it stops. I fiddle a bit, but it is late, so I stop for the day.

This morning, I did the Bill Gates fix and rebooted my winXP machine and started working, and dirList()worked fine!

After about 3 hours of using the routine over and over, it suddenly quit.

So, I rebooted (hoping when in production this won't happen) but the reboot did not fix.

So I wrote a little test routine using both the 'mapped' drive letter M:\audio\33485 and the unc (i think) \\monkey\audio\33485 as the path to my folder

and stepped though with the debugger, both returned nothing.

Any ideas?

Well, I made a mistake testing the mapped drive, it does work.

At least it does now.

Still can't get the unmapped network drive to work now, but it did.

Any clues?
