OI 9.00 download & install difficulties. (OpenInsight 32-Bit)

Has anyone else experienced a slow download and difficult install. It took 40 minutes to download the latest version and to make matters worse I had to download twice before I got a good copy.
After starting the install the gas gauge appeared but then the installation appeared to stop, the gas gauge disappears thinking that the installation aborted. Started another install, waited several minutes after the gas gauge appeared and the install proceded as normal. Then to my surprise after 20 minutes or so the first aborted install started up again although I had sucessfully finished the 2nd install.
At the end of the day I have a successful install but am I the only one experiencing these difficulties.

Chris,
No, you aren't the only person. This probem was experienced by many beta testers and Revelation has acknowledged the issue. Mike has suggested that if the problem continues to occur they might look at alternative ways of distributing upgrades.
In point of fact, it took two tries for me to get a valid download. The first time woudln't even allow me to open the zip file. I just got an error saying it was corrupted.

Download is very slow. So slow I forgot I had started the download and rebooted the machine aborting the download. Which I then had to restart.
The install has been like this on all my machines for years (including now on Windows 7). It seems to hang but if you sit and wait (or go for a run) it eventually completes.
Revelation really needs to
(1) Move the hosting to a faster site.
(2) Rewrite the install in NSIS.

Download started @ 10:35am
Its now 11:20am and the message box still states "Getting File Information"
Im abandoning the download and will contact Martyn to see if there is an alternative way to get it.

Downloads have been slow for some time. The install took longer than I "think" it should but it wasn't too bad. It only took 2 minutes once the progress bar reached 100%.

If you are having trouble downloading the OI 9.0 upgrade please go back to the Works Download page and try again. The file has been posted at an alternative download site.
On Monday there was a lot of congestion on the download site as people rushed to download the upgrade.

It took about 45 minutes to download yesterday, fortunately the file was valid.
I experienced quite a few invalid downloads during the beta cycle as well as 90+ minute downloads.
