can anyone help,

I have been trying in vain to get my web server to work on IIS6, I am running two seperate Windows 2003 servers, one is the web server the other is the file server where the OI app is instlled, i have tried this on a Microsoft Domain and under an Active Directory structure.

It is working fine on a third party web app (Xitami), but i can not get it to run under IIS6, i have tried changing users in the directory security and a number of other things that i have found here and on the WWW, is there anybody out there that has successfully configured a web server running IIS6, with a seperate file server on either a domain or AD, that has a guide/procedure for configuring an IIS6 web server.

Stuart,

Have you set IIS6 to allow the OECGI.EXE to execute? IIS6 now requires you to explicitly specify the web extensions it will allow.

We really need some more info about this to help you:

What errors are you receiving?

What are the OECGI registry settings on your web-server?

Are you trying to launch a dynamic or persitant engine? If the former where is the copy of OENGINE.EXE that you are trying to execute?
