Hello all -
Are there any limitations for setting data lengths in edit tables in 32-bit?
Thanks,

Mike,
I believe there is still the limitation of 999 characters per cell. I'm certain this is an edittable control limitation…obviously not an OI data storage limitation.

It used to be a problem with memory limitations in OI 16. If I set the column limit high and then had a table with many rows, it would run out of memory and not display all the rows. So, I got into the habit of setting the column length as low as possible. Don't know how this behavior has changed in OI 32.

Hi Mark -
Exactly what I'm trying to find out. When we converted from AREV to OI we found that we did not make some of them long enough and in one instance a user actually lost some data - didn't anticipate that at all.
